Winter Wonderland for a Day

I woke up at 5:00am, and I peaked out the window to see if our Snow Wish came true.  This is what I saw.

I took these pictures from  inside the house while I anxiously waited for the phone call in which I would hear

"SNOW DAY- School is cancelled!"

Annie had to step out side.  She too couldn't believe her eyes!

At 7:30am.

7:45am!

H and I went for a winter walk.

So did Annie.

H played some more.

"Oops, I never fed her breakfast before we went out to play."

Overall, a beautiful snowy day.

Snow Dog!!!

All winter long, I have said, "I just want one day of snow.  Snow that will stick around for the day so the kids can play."  My winter wonderland snow wish came true.  Is it bad that I am hoping for one more day tomorrow?  :-)
