Winter

In four days, H and I will be arriving in Arizona for our spring break so I figured I should post my pictures from winter cuz I am on top of things like that!!  I will be first to admit that I am so bummed that we never had a snow day this year.  We had a few frozen mornings so I was hopeful but it never happened.  I have high hopes for next year though!  :-)  H being her artsy creative self took my camera and went for a walk.  This is what she captured!!

I love the spider web in this one.

When she wasn't outside taking pictures, H was inside working on her masterpiece.

H quickly snapped this picture.  I love it!!

"I hate Mondays!"

Winter...some days are just lazy!

Then there is this!!  This is known as Color War.
Yes, these are my Freshmen!

I am so proud to call these students mine especially when they are running around in boxes.

Cody met a new girl this winter!!

Her name is Aly.  I met her my very first day teaching high school Spanish.
She was a young bubbly Freshman girl!  Today she is a kindergarten teacher and on her spare time she hangs out with Cody.  ;-)  I don't mind though cuz it's nice having Cody come visit us!!  :-)

Here is K's BFF!!  They met in 4th grade and today they are inseparable!!

My little zebra!!

Ahh, yes, St Paddy's day!!!

My honey!

Only G-ma and H can find a way to dance to bagpipe music!

We all went to Beaches on St. Paddy's day to listen to Kyle play the bagpipes.
It was a very fun evening.

US!!

Actually, this is more like it!  JJ is now calling me mom #2!
You know he is like family when he sleeps over on school nights
and we don't think anything of it.

The highlight this winter:  Running in the St. Paddy's Day Run with Kyle and K jr.

Before the run.

Waiting to make it up to the start line.  13,0000 ran the 5k.
This is a huge event!

After the run!  It was awesome!!!

Forget teaching... I am SO the dog whisper!!

That's all I've got!!!

Next up:  Easter and Spring Break in Arizona with H!
